Alex Bucklee is a London based designer and conceptual artist.
Originally from Norfolk, Bucklee moved to East London as an young adult, where he worked as a designer for multiple global brands, before embarking on a career as a professional artist.
His work blends minimalist and striking graphics drawn from his design background with his love for the Urban art scene he inhabits in London’s Shoreditch.
His immaculate screenprints are hand finished with tools of the Street Art trade such as spray paints and Krink graffiti markers.
Bucklee’s art explores contemporary social and personal themes such as loneliness, homophobia and political apathy.
His humorous and graceful work attempts to help tackle the problems within society and his own mind by sparking discussion.
