Bryan Illsley

Bryan Illsley was born in 1937, and studied at Kingston School of Art in the mid-1950's. In 1963, he moved to St Ives and worked at the Bernard Leach Pottery studio, before establishing a partnership with fellow artist Breon O'Casey making studio jewellery in 1967. Having exhibited in West Cornwall and been a member of the Penwith Society, he now lives in London. His work features extensively in public collections; from the Kyoto Museum of Modern Art to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London - and in Cambridge at Kettle’s Yard.

The Art Hound Gallery are delighted to offer original etchings by Bryan Illsley, a key member of the Cornish St Ives school.
