OPIE

Opie is a Cambridgeshire based street artist, who operates under his tag name producing spray paint works on the street and on canvas.

Each piece originates as a labour intensive hand cut stencil before using spray paints in several layers. Opie’s style is part of the legacy of stencil based street artists such as Banksy and Blek Le Rat, but with his own unique take, which often involves striking mash ups of ultra cute or cartoon imagery combined with extreme military, such as tanks, dynamite and battle vests.

Opie’s street work can be viewed around the streets of central Cambridge and further afield. The Art Hound are delighted to be showcasing this exciting new street artist exclusively to our gallery.
