Philadelphia based pop artist Adam Shub aka Squarepainter is best known for his acrylic hand painted pixel art.
His subject is easily recognizable with anyone who grew up playing video games in the 80s and 90s. Capturing moments from our favorite games, he hand paints each pixel with love and nostalgia.

Exhibiting since 2009, Shub showcases his work extensively at conventions and comic cons throughout the USA as well as art shows mainly in Philadelphia and New York. His work has been featured on Playstation's YouTube channel and countless retro gaming themed podcasts and blogs.
