• Star Wars was so popular that it ran continuously in cinemas for over a year. Owing to this there was a shortage of posters as many got ruined. The studio had to print extra posters for the film's long run. These had different printing information on the bottom right-hand corner. There are a total of 4 different printings of this poster. This particular poster is the very first printing and the sought-after and valuable. These posters were tri-folded, which means it had no vertical folds only horizontal ones.
