Title: Acid & Icon: Flint as Trickster
This is an exploration of pop-cultural heathenry.
Keith Flint was more than a frontman; he was the lightning rod for an entire generation of the Essex underground. These stencils strip him down to his most potent elements—the spiked silhouette, the ritualistic eye makeup, the punk-rave defiance—and recast him as a modern-day Loki. Like the Norse trickster, Flint was mercurial: a shapeshifter who lived in the tension between the grit of the street and the euphoria of the dancefloor.
The works are born from the intersection of sight and sound. The high-voltage fluorescent pink and green against a deep black substrate are a direct tribute to the sonic textures of the 90s. They are the visual equivalent of an acid line conjured from a TB-303—jagged, hypnotic, and cutting through the darkness.
These paintings are not just portraits; they are artifacts of a moment when the underground felt like a new religion, and the music felt like a revelation.

Fluorescent green spray paint stencil on black-sprayed artboard
A visual translation of a specific sonic frequency. The deep, sprayed black substrate provides the silence from which the stencil cuts, mimicking the way an acid line pierces the darkness of a warehouse. The fluorescent green spray paint evokes the undulating, liquid textures of a TB-303, casting the Loki archetype in a chemical, psychedelic light. It is a portrait of the mercurial spirit, born from the rhythmic chaos of the dancefloor.

Will Wright is a contemporary British artist, filmmaker and activist.
Growing up amongst his father's print business, ink was in his blood from a very early age: experimenting with letraset, markers and ink, as a child.
Influences such as 2000AD comic book, Trash VHS video tapes and Electro Hip Hop led Will on to directing music videos with notorious metal band Cradle of Filth, British action star Ed Skrein (Deadpool, Game of Thrones) and a host of UK talent. Art activism and esoteric study has led Will back to fine art with work that draws upon his wealth of experience.
His artwork incorporates symbolism derived from ancient spirituality, Northern European folklore and mythology within a distinctly urban context: Atomiser replaces spray can, tags become sigils and throw ups as shrines.
CLAIRE WYLDHEART
"Claire Wyldheart is an arts graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University where she also got to attend the legendary Hacienda club after years of collecting DJ mixtapes of early Acid House music as a teen. After a string of design jobs Claire followed her childhood dream and published her first children's book, I Have a Bear with Brolly Books whilst living in Australia.</span><br><br><span style="color: #000000;">Upon returning to the United Kingdom Wyldheart continued to develop original children's books and assisted Will Wright with filmmaking, providing art direction, costuming and set dressing on various commercial productions. This led to a collaborative partnership focused on making art informed by their shared spiritual practice. Claire incorporates dressmaking and sculpture into creating custom dolls and toys that reflect her shamanic encounters and insights. Wyldheart & Wright is the artistic partnership through which Claire and Will produce work drawn from the experiences they have whilst in ritual trance. The results mix folklore and occulture with toy art, doll photography, including influences such as rave flyer design and graffiti. Wyldheart & Wright have been publishing Wyrd throughout 2021, becoming a well regarded occult zine that discusses their philosophy, art and experiences.
