Artists concept. Journey to Hyperspace:

This contemporary visionary art depicts the flight of the shaman’s soul across mythological realms as cinematic frames from non-existent fantastical movies. Wyldheart & Wright were inspired by the visual effects of films such as Fantastic Journey, Star Wars and Innerspace to use scale models and photographic techniques
to express their personal experiences of 21st century shamanism. All work is presented in the aspect ratio of 2.35:1 Cinemascope, as favoured by Stanley Kubrick when shooting 2001: A Space Odyssey.
SPACESHIP XXIII
This customised model kit was designed to evoke the movies of the 1950s to the 1980s, the shape recalls the film Destination Moon, whilst the paint work that of the rebel ships from Star Wars. The number 23 is a nod to the work of psychonaut Robert Anton Wilson and the colours represent the four stages of Alchemy; Black, White, Red and Gold.

Spaceship XIII

This spacecraft, a nod to classic sci-fi movies, carries the insignia no. 23, the holiest of numbers within Discordianism (2+3=5)

The Law of Fives states simply that: ALL THINGS HAPPEN IN FIVES, OR ARE DIVISIBLE BY OR ARE MULTIPLES OF FIVE, OR ARE SOMEHOW DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY APPROPRIATE TO 5.

WILL WRIGHT

Will Wright is a contemporary British artist, filmmaker and activist.

Growing up amongst his father's print business, ink was in his blood from a very early age: experimenting with letraset, markers and ink, as a child.

Influences such as 2000AD comic book, Trash VHS video tapes and Electro Hip Hop led Will on to directing music videos with notorious metal band Cradle of Filth, British action star Ed Skrein (Deadpool, Game of Thrones) and a host of UK talent. Art activism and esoteric study has led Will back to fine art with work that draws upon his wealth of experience.

His artwork incorporates symbolism derived from ancient spirituality, Northern European folklore and mythology within a distinctly urban context: Atomiser replaces spray can, tags become sigils and throw ups as shrines.

CLAIRE WYLDHEART

"Claire Wyldheart is an arts graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University where she also got to attend the legendary Hacienda club after years of collecting DJ mixtapes of early Acid House music as a teen. After a string of design jobs Claire followed her childhood dream and published her first children's book, I Have a Bear with Brolly Books whilst living in Australia.</span><br><br><span style="color: #000000;">Upon returning to the United Kingdom Wyldheart continued to develop original children's books and assisted Will Wright with filmmaking, providing art direction, costuming and set dressing on various commercial productions. This led to a collaborative partnership focused on making art informed by their shared spiritual practice. Claire incorporates dressmaking and sculpture into creating custom dolls and toys that reflect her shamanic encounters and insights. Wyldheart & Wright is the artistic partnership through which Claire and Will produce work drawn from the experiences they have whilst in ritual trance. The results mix folklore and occulture with toy art, doll photography, including influences such as rave flyer design and graffiti. Wyldheart &amp; Wright have been publishing Wyrd throughout 2021, becoming a well regarded occult zine that discusses their philosophy, art and experiences.
