Sage (Bones In Black)

Sage is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores identity, subculture, and memory through both physical and digital mediums. With years spent getting work up as a street artist, her practice is rooted in creating personal, immediate experiences in public and unconventional spaces.

Her current work expands this approach through her project Bones In Black, where she explores 1990s music culture, goth identity, and nostalgia through storytelling, video, and wearable design. Drawing from her own lived experience within these subcultures, she creates work that bridges generations—reconnecting those who lived through the era while offering an unfiltered perspective to younger audiences discovering it for the first time.

Across painting, sculpture, and installation, Sage’s work often incorporates found objects, personal artifacts, and cultural references, transforming them into intimate, narrative-driven pieces that reflect on how identity is shaped through music, memory, and shared experience.
